Virginian Pilot December 28, 1910

Arthur B. Tarrant died at his home, 447 Queen Street, Monday afternoon after a 
lingering illness in the 53d year of his age.  The deceased was a native of 
Norfolk and resided here all of his life.  He is survived by a widow, three 
brothers, and one sister, James W., Beauregard and W.C. Tarrant, and Mrs. Mary V. 
Cherry.  The funeral will be held from the apartments of Funeral Director H.C. 
Smith, 179 Bank Street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon.  The interment will be in 
Elmwood Cemetery.
