Virginian Pilot August 30, 1906

George L. Tarrant died at 3:30 o'clock yesterday morning after a lingering 
illness.  The deceased followed the vocation of a brickmason and was in the 
57th year of his age.  His obsequies will be held from the funeral apartments 
of H.C. Smith, No. 179 Bank Street, at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
