Tarrant, No. 603 Church street, Thursday, April 30th, at 9:30 a.m., WILLIAM FRANCIS TARRANT, aged 54 years. The funeral will take place from the above residence THIS (Friday) AFTERNOON, May 1st, at 5 o'clock. Friends and acquaintances respectfully invited to attend. ************************************************************** The obsequies of Mr. William Francis Tarrant, whose sudden demise has been noted in these columns, were held from the residence of his brother, Mr. J.W. Tarrant, 603 Church Street, at 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon. The service was conducted by Rev. Dr. Joseph Rennie, of the First Presbyterian Church. The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: W.T. Reese, W.A. Tatem, W.C. Hurley, I.E. Stott, A.L. Reid, B.L. Waterfield, C.B. Jones and J.E. Powers. A delegation from the bricklayers' union attended the funeral.
