 Norfolk Virginian Pilot Friday June 1, 1951
William Francis Tarrant, 48, of 1033 West 36th Street, died yesterday at 
12:30 a.m. at a Norfolk hospital.
He was employed as a storekeeper at the Naval Supply Center. Born in 
Norfolk, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Tarrant.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucille Coleman Tarrant and six sisters, Mrs. 
Sallie Volvia, Mrs. Mildred Bragg, Mrs. Mittie Fitch, Mrs. Bessie Gaylord, 
Mrs. Lucille McKowin, all of Norfolk, and Mrs. Pearl Ranhorne, of 
Portsmouth. 
The body will be forwarded from the James V. Derry Funeral Chapel this 
afternoon to Washington for cremation.
