Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark June 21, 1929

Mrs. Sarah R. Tasker, widow of George Albert Tasker, died yesterday morning at 5 
o'clock, in Washington, D.C.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. R.F. Hanbury, of the George Washington 
Highway, Mrs. J.O. Joliff and Mrs. Arthur Lowe, both of Washington; four sons, 
Charles A. Tasker, of Asheville, N.C., John H. Tasker, of Chicago, Robert Edward 
Tasker, of Washington, and Wilbert C. Tasker, of Falls Church, Va.; one brother, 
Middleton Posey, of Washington; 27 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The body will arrive Saturday morning on the Washington steamer and will be 
conveyed to the Snellings Funeral Home, where it will remain until Sunday 
morning.  Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the residence of 
Mrs. Hanbury, on the George Washington Highway.  Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery, Norfolk.
