Tasker, one of the best known citizens of Berkley ward, died yesterday evening at 7:30 o'clock at the residence of Mrs. W.A. Brown, 712 Berkley avenue, after an illness of several months, in the 73d year of his age. He was a native of Washington, D.C., but had been residing in this city for the past 35 years. He was a ship carpenter by trade, but had not followed that vocation for several years on account of his health. He was a member of Armstrong Memorial Presbyterian Church and Middleton Lodge, No. 145, I.O.O.F. It will be recalled that his daughter, Mrs. G.B. Randolph, with whom he had resided the latter years of his life, died January 13 and with his death the last member of his family passed away. He was twice married, his wives being sisters. ************************************************************** The funeral of the late John W.
