Norfolk Virginian Pilot Saturday April 17, 1948
Miss Margaret Ellen Tatem, of 427 Pendleton Street, died yesterday at 2 a.m. 
after a brief illness.
She is survived by a sister, Miss Mary Susan Tatem; three nieces, Miss Louisa 
C. Tatem, Mrs. Samuel B. Pretlow and Miss Laura G. Garrett; a nephew, H. 
Lawrence Garrett, and a great-nephew, James Bailey Pretlow.
The body was taken to the Williams Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where services 
will be held tomorrow at 4 p.m.  Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery.
