Virginia Beach - Mrs. Roxy A. Tatem of 744 Rosemont road, died May 18 in her 
home.  She was 103.

A native of Belton, Texas.  She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaia 
Crawford and the widow of W. H. Tatem Sr.

She was a member of St. John A.M.E. Church.
She is survived by one son, W. H. Tatem Jr., Norfolk;  two daughters, Mrs. Ernie 
E. Robinson, Virginia Beach;  and Mrs. Willie E. Warren, Houston, TX;  five 
grandchildren;  seven great grandchildren;  and 2 great great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held at St. John’s A.M.E. Church, Bute street, by Rev. A. 
R. Powell.  Burial followed in Calvary Cemetery.
