Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 10, 1930
Richard Tatterson, aged 61, died at the residence, 816 Raleigh avenue yesterday 
morning at 6:25 o'clock.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Emmie Osborne 
Tatterson; a daughter, Miss Emmie Tatterson, four sons, George, Melvin, Elbert and 
Osborne Tatterson, all of Norfolk and three sisters, Mrs. I.D. Hudgins, of Mathews 
County, Mrs J.W. Brooks, of St. Louis and Mrs. Essie Walker, of Portsmouth.  Mr. 
Tatterson was a native of New York, but had been a resident of Norfolk for the 
last 50 years.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
