She was born in Norfolk and was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Norfolk where she served on the Deaconess Board. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, the Rev. James Thomas Tatum and is survived by two daughters, Christal Burrus and Dorothy Stith; three sons, Troy, Samuel and Thomas Tatum; a devoted sister in Christ, Sister Gladys Everette; seven grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Nannie Fogg Johnson. A funeral will be held at noon Monday at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church by Bishop I. Joseph Williams. Burial in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Metropolitan Funeral Service, Berkley Avenue Chapel. Family and friends will assemble Monday at 11 a.m. at 6237 Sedgefield Drive, Norfolk.
