Norfolk - Mrs. Della Taylor died Saturday, March 6, at a local hospital as the
result of burns received in a recent fire. Mrs. Taylor was born July 25,1865 and
was 82 years old at her death. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Hill of Halifax, NC, and the wife of the late Samuel Taylor, also of
North Carolina.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 10, at New Calvary Baptist Church
where she had been a member since childhood. The Rev. S. R. Wilson officiated.

The deceased is survived by six children, 17 grandchildren, 29
great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.
Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
