The funeral of Robert L. Taylor, 36, of 411 Chapel Street, victim of a 
submarine torpedo April 2, was held at Hale's Chapel April 15 with the Rev. R. 
K. D. Garrett officiating. He was born in Portsmouth, VA, and had lived in 
this section his entire life. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
