Norfolk Virginian Pilot March 9, 1951

John George Taylor, 71, husband of Mrs. Alice Tilden Taylor and son of the late 
William and Mrs. Anne Mulloy Taylor, a native of Pembroke, Ontario, Canada, and 
a resident of Norfolk for 21 years, died yesterday at 8 a.m. at the residence, 
317 Chapel Street.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Florence Orchard, Mrs. 
Mary Boucher and Mrs. Nellie Reis, and a number of nieces and nephews.
The body will be taken from the residence to St. Mary's Catholic Church for 
funeral services tomorrow at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. 
Rosary services will be held today at 8 p.m. at St. Mary's Infant Home, 317 
Chapel Street.
