Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark Wednesday September 2, 1931
Mrs. Grace Lee Griffith Taylor, wife of Dr. J.E. Taylor and daughter of the 
late John H. and Eugenia Whitehurst Griffith, died Monday morning at 9 o'clock 
at Atlantic City, N.J.  She was a native of Virginia and a resident of 
Danville.  She is survived by her husband, Dr. J.E. Taylor; a daughter, Miss 
Elizaabeth Taylor, both of Danville and a brother, the Rev. John Hammond 
Griffith, of Norfolk. 
 Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East 
Freemason street, this morning at 11 o'clock.  Interment will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery.  Services will be conducted by the Rev. N.C. Wicker, director of the 
Epiphany Episcopal Church, Danville, of which Mrs. Taylor was a member.
