Norfolk Virginian Pilot April 21, 1951

Mrs. Perry Losson Taylor, 57, wife of James E. Taylor and daughter of the late 
John and Mrs. Sara Wilson Losson, died yesterday at 9:40 a.m. after a long 
illness.
She was a native of Bardstown, Ky. and had been a resident of Norfolk for 29 
years, residing at 408 West 29th Street at the time of her death. She was a 
member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, James E. Taylor, Jr. and B. 
Bruce Taylor, of Norfolk; two brothers, Charles S. Losson and John I. Losson, of 
Louisville, Ky.; six sisters, Miss Estelle Losson, Mrs. J.R. Crume and Mrs. J.H. 
Hurst of Bardstown, Ky.; Sister Mary Aquina, of Mt. St. Joseph, Ky.; Mrs. J.O. 
Thurman, of Seattle, Wash. and Mrs. Thomas B. Thornbury, of Louisville, Ky.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church for services Monday at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments Sunday 
night.

TAYLOR, PERRY LOSSON - At a local hospital, Friday, April 20, 1951, at 9:40 
a.m., PERRY LOSSON TAYLOR, wife of James E. Taylor, and daughter of the late 
John, and Sara Wilson Losson, in the 58th year of her age. Remains will be taken 
from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church, for services MONDAY MORNING at 9 o’clock. Friends of 
the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
