Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 18,1957
Funeral services for Louis A. Taylor, 955 Hanson avenue, were held May 13.  
Mr. Taylor was 86.  Services were conducted in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of 
Norfolk,  Rev. Jordan officiating.

Mr. Taylor was a member of Good Samaritan.  He is survived by one son, Joseph 
Taylor;  six daughters,  Mrs. Lavinia Lawrence, Mrs. Barbara Jordan, Mrs. Mary 
Anderson, Miss Ida Mae Taylor, Miss Lee Taylor, and Miss Doris Taylor.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
