A native of Norfolk, he was a member of Soul Saving Church with Pastor Neomi Smith. Survivors include his mother and father, Lindora Taylor and John Taylor of Norfolk; three sisters, Lossie Butler (Herbert), Joan Spaulding and Annette Hughes; three brothers, John Taylor Jr., Corey Taylor , Gregory Lewis; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother, Christopher Taylor . A funeral will be held at noon Monday, Aug. 15, at Faith Temple COGIC, 745 Gosnold Ave., Norfolk, with Superintendent James Williams and Pastor Neomi Smith presiding. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The remains will be ready for viewing from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Sunday. On Monday, the family will assemble at the residence at 11 a.m. for the procession.
