Virginia Beach - Mrs. Sarah Snowden Taylor, 71, of 1201 Friendship Square died 
in her home.

A native of Princess Anne County, she was a daughter of Moses and Mrs. Julia 
Snowden and the widow of W. Francis Taylor.

She was a member of L. W. Chase Women’s Club, Morning Glory Tents Lodge  226, 
Esther Household of Ruth 4247, and Carnational Social and Savings Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Doretha Lamb, a son, Ocie Parsons, and two 
brothers, Charlie Sutton and George Sutton, all of Virginia Beach;  three 
grandchildren;  and five stepgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held in Rehoboth Baptist Church by the Rev. L. W. Chase.  
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Pretlow Funeral Home in charge.
