Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark February 26, 1932
John Lawson Taylor, aged 71, died at 4 o'clock yesterday morning at a local 
hospital.  He was a native of Shelbyville, Tenn. and had been a resident of 
Norfolk for the past 25 years.  He is survived by one daughter, Miss Frances E. 
Taylor, of Norfolk.
Services will be held at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-12 East Freemason 
street, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock, the Rev. John H. Griffith, supply pastor 
of St. Luke's Church, officiating.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
