Virginian-pilot (Norfolk VA) 1898-1911, Tuesday, December 18,1900
Mr. John Taylor,a resident of Portsmouth, departed this life at St. Vincent's
Hospital, this city, Saturday.  His funeral took place from St. Mary's Catholic
Church, at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon, and was conducted by Rev. Father Crow. 
The interment was in St. Mary's cemetery.
