Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 30, 1996 
Roy M. Taylor, 77, of the 1400 block of W. 42nd St., died Oct. 27, 1996.

Survivors include his daughters, Ann T. Barnes of Portsmouth and Rosalyn T.
Brown of Bloomfield, Conn.; a son, Roy M. Taylor Jr. of Portsmouth; sisters,
Ethel T. Cooke of Portsmouth and Louise T. Smith of Portsmouth; 10 grandchildren
and several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Pretlow and Sons' Chapel,
Chesapeake. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk.
