Norfolk Journal and Guide, Saturday, June 11,1938
Caulbert H. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Taylor, 1323 Calvert Street, died in
New York City, May 23, and his funeral was held at the home on Friday, May 27
with the Rev. J. A. Young, pastor of St. John A.M.E. Church, officiating,
assisted by the Rev. Richard H. Bowling, and the Rev. H. T. Myers.  The deceased
man  resided in New York for the past 14 years.  The remains were accompanied
home by his brother, W. Francis Taylor, Jr.  He is survived by his mother,
father, four brothers, four aunts, and one great aunt.  Burial was in the family
plot in Calvary Cemetery.
