Miss Taylor was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, former member of the Junior League of Norfolk; past president of the Association for the Preservation of Virginia Antiquities; board member of the Norfolk Historic Foundation; and board member of the Episcopal Home. She was also a member of the English Speaking Union; Women's Democratic Club; League of Women Voters; Hope-Maury Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy; and the Norfolk Senior Citizens Club. Survivors include a brother, Powell Harrison Taylor and his wife, Suzane of Norfolk; a niece, Janet T. Snodgrass of Norfolk; a nephew, Stuart Saunders Taylor of Richmond; three great-nieces; and two great-nephews. A church service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Christ and St. Luke's Episcopal Church by the Rev. Irwin M. Lewis Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, is handling arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross.
