Norfolk Virginian October 31, 1873 

Suddenly, on Thursday, 30th instant at 3 1/2 o'clock p.m. in the 70th year of 
her age, LOUISA N., eldest child of the late Littleton W. Tazewell.

We are pained to announce this morning the death of Miss Louisa Tazewell, 
daughter of the late Governor Tazewell, which occurred at her residence on 
Granby Street yesterday afternoon after a short illness, from heart disease. The 
announcement will be received with a thrill of sorrow by a large number of our 
citizens.
