Miss Tazewell was the second daughter of ex Governor L.W. and Anne Stratton Tazewell and was noted for her charitable works. She was born in Norfolk and has lived here her full four score years, dying at the advanced age of 80 years. Her father was ex-Governor Tazewell, who was widely known for his varied attainments and her mother was before marriage Miss Nivison, who was of a very widely known and aristocratic family. The funeral will take place from her late residence, No. 92 Granby Street, tomorrow at 12 o'clock. ************************************************************************ TAZEWELL - On Thursday, February 25th at 4 o'clock, SALLY, daughter of Littleton Waller and Anne Stratton Tazewell, in the 80th year of her age. Norfolk Virginian February 26, 1892 *********************************************************************** The funeral of Miss Sally Tazewell, whose death was mentioned in THE VIRGINIAN of yesterday, will take place from the residence, 92 Granby Street, today at 12 p.m. The deceased was a daughter of the late Littleton Waller Tazewell, ex- Governor of Virginia. and a lady of lovely character. Norfolk Virginian February 27, 1892 **************************************************************************** The funeral of Miss Sally Tazewell, daughter of the late Governor Tazewell, of Virginia, took place at 12 p.m. yesterday from her late residence, No. 92 Granby Street. It was conducted by the Rev. O.S. Barten, of Christ P. E. Church and the interment was in Elmwood. The following were the pallbearers: Messrs. William Dickson, B.P. Loyall, R.L. Page, A.W. Starke, Charles Sharp, George McIntosh, W.E. Taylor and F.S. Taylor.
