Virginia Pilot February 7, 1941

Mrs. Mary Wright Tebault, aged 76, daughter of Dr. James Phripp and Mrs. Kate 
Haynes Wright, a native of Kempsville and a lifelong resident of this section, 
died yesterday morning at 11 o’clock at her residence, 817 Manteo Street. 
Surviving here are two daughters, Miss Selina Tebault and Miss Pauline Wright 
Tebault, of Norfolk, and a nephew and several nieces.
Services will be held at the chapel of the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 
colonial Avenue, tomorrow at 12 o’clock, noon, with the Rev. W. Taylor Willis, 
rector of Christ and  St. Luke’s Church, of which Mrs. Tebault was a member, 
officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
