Joseph (Joe) Teel of 2415 Tidewater Dr., died Friday evening after a short illness.

He was the son of Mrs. Ada Bibbs, and the late Levy Teel. A native of
Greenville, NC, he had lived here the last nine years. He was employed by the
City of Norfolk the last year.

He was a member of the B&S Sick Club and of the Church of God in Christ.

Besides his mother, surviving are his wife, Mrs. Marie Teel; one sister, Mrs.
Lucy Boyd of Portsmouth, and one brother, William James Teel of Suffolk.

The body was taken to the Riddick Funeral Service.
