The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark October 1, 1931
Mrs. Sybil Leonora Tenney, aged 87, died at a local hospital yesterday 
afternoon at 4:30 o'clock. She is survived by one son, Walter L. Tenney, and 
several nieces. Mrs. Tenney was the widow of Newton S. Tenney, a native of New 
York, and a resident of Norfolk for the past 12 years. She was a consistent 
member of the Park Place Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
afternoon at 3 o'clock.
