Virginian Pilot and the Norfolk Landmark December 25, 1916

Mrs. Mary Terry aged 62 years, wife of W.E. Terry, died yesterday afternoon at 
2:10 o'clock at the residence 1209 Forty-fifth Street. Besides her husband she 
is survived by three daughters, Mrs. W.W. Timberlake, Mrs. B.F. Walker, of 
Norfolk and Mrs. C.G. Wing of Panama and several grandchildren. She had been ill 
about two months.

TERRY - At her residence, 1209 45th Street, Sunday afternoon, December 24, 1916, 
at 2:10 o'clock, MARY, wife of W.E. Terry, age 62 years.
Funeral services from the above residence TUESDAY AFTERNOON, December 26, at 2 
o'clock. Friends of the family invited to attend.  Interment Elmwood Cemetery.

The funeral of Mrs. Mary Terry took place yesterday at 2 o'clock at the 
residence, 1209 Forty-fifth Street, conducted by Rev. J.W. Barrett, pastor of 
the Church of God and was largely attended.  There were many floral tributes. 
Burial was in Elmwood, the pallbearers being E.C. Smith, R.V. Plass, T.L. 
Burroughs and A.F. Plass.
