Virginian Pilot June 15, 1966

John Frioli Thatch, 66, of 3106 Cape Henry Ave., died Monday in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a son of the late John S. and Mrs. Mary 
McGuire Thatch. He was a veteran of World War II.
He was an accountant at Norfolk Naval Base and a member of Christ the King 
Catholic Church and Norfolk Elks Lodge 38.
Surviving are three brothers, Joseph Allen Thatch, Philip B. Thatch and Vincent 
D. Thatch of Norfolk.
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30 .
A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Thursday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
