Virginian Pilot July 13, 1965 

Hubert John Thatch, 54, of 3106 Cape Henry Ave., the son of John S. and Mrs. 
Mary E. McGuire Thatch, died Monday at 9:15 a.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was a member of Christ the King Catholic 
Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include four brothers, John F. Thatch, Joseph A. Thatch, Phillip B. 
Thatch and Vincent D. Thatch of Norfolk.
The body will be taken from H.D Oliver Funeral Apartments to Christ the King 
Catholic Church for a funeral service Wednesday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. 
Mary's Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited in the funeral apartments tonight at 
7:30.
