Berkley - Funeral services for Mrs. Susan Thatcher, one of the oldest citizens 
of the Southside who passed away at the age of 93, were held from the New 
Central Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. J. H. Lucas officiating. The 
services were largely attended.

The deceased is survived by two daughters, four grandchildren, eight great-
grandchildren, and two great, great grandchildren.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with the Nancy Wheeler Funeral Home in 
charge.
