OLIVE A. THAYER FOUND DEAD IN BED Born In Norfolk - Daughter Of Late Colonel Thayer - Burial Here Baltimore, Md., Oct 5.--Miss Olive Augusta Thayer, 69 years old, who has been living recently with her nephew, E.R.F. Blogg, at 2506 St. Paul Street, was found dead in bed by her niece, Miss Harriet Blogg, early this morning. Coroner Hyde gave a certificate of death due to heart trouble. Miss Blogg found the body of her aunt after she had gone to her door and called several times. Receiving no answer she opened the door and found Miss Thayer dead in bed. Miss Thayer was the daughter of the Colonel Colline Thayer of Norfolk, Va. and the granddaughter of Asa Thayer of Uxbridge, Mass. She was born in Norfolk. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E.R.F. Blogg; three nephews, E.R.F. Blogg, Percy T. Blogg and Luther Gwaltney of Norfolk (and nieces) Misses Ella and Georgia Gwaltney and Mima and Harriet Blogg. There will be a short service at the house for the immediate family tomorrow afternoon, after which the body will be shipped to Norfolk. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Miss Thayer was found dead in bed at the home of her nephew, E.R.F. Blogg, in Baltimore. She was 69 years old. She was the daughter of the late Colonel Colline Thayer of Norfolk and granddaughter of Asa Thayer of Uxbridge, Mass. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. E.R.F. Blogg; three nephews, E.R.F. Blogg, Percy T. Blogg and Luther Gwaltney of Norfolk; four nieces, Misses Ella and Georgia Gwaltney and Mima and Harriet Blogg. Rev. H.M. Fugate of the Park Place Baptist Church will conduct funeral services this morning at the grave in Elmwood Cemetery.
