Mr. Thebarge, an employe of Penrod-Jurden & Clark Co., was a native of Cadillac, Mich., and lived in Norfolk most of his life. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and its nocturnal Adoration Society and Holy Name Society, and of Knights of Columbus Council 418. Besides his widow, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Joseph Thebarge Zoby, Mrs. Monroe Decker, Miss Adelia Eugenia Thebarge and Miss Martha Marie Thebarge of Norfolk; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gordon B. Williams of Hopewell and Mrs. Anthony M. Doxey of Charleston Heights, S.C.; three sons, Louis Joseph Thebarge Jr. and Michael Francis Thebarge of Norfolk and Charles Joseph Thebarge of the Navy, aboard the aircraft carrier Randolph; a brother, Alfred Thebarge of Norfolk; and four sisters, Mrs. Raymond Kelly and Mrs. Barney Smith of Norfolk, Mrs. John Sprock of Baltimore and Mrs. Ernest Zoby of Norfolk. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a m. in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
