Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J.R. Jones and Mrs. L.F. Tebault, of Oaklette, Norfolk County; Mrs. John Sprock, of Baltimore, Md. and Mrs. Ernest Zoby, of Norfolk; three sons, Joseph Thebarge, of Baltimore, Md.; Louis and Alfred Thebarge of Norfolk; 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to St. Matthew's Catholic Church, Berkley, for funeral services Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 o'clock. ************************************************************************* Joseph George Thebarge — Funeral services for Mr. Thebarge, who died Monday night at a local hospital, were held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Berkley, with the Rev. M. J. Harrison, pastor, officiating. The Rev. P. P. Brenann was present in the sanctuary. During the service Mrs. Gatewood Dashiell and Mrs. Dennis Curling sang “Lead Kindly Light.” "Mary, Dearest Mother" and "Veni Jesu," with Mrs. Harry Fulford as accompanist. There was a large attendance and many floral offerings. The casket was covered with a pall of Easter lilies, roses and white carnations and fern. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery. The pallbearers were James W. Powell, Albert Unser, Henry Z. McDonough, Arthur Nash, Fred Martel, J. P. Dickman, William H. Delaney, Barney McManus, L. E. T. Shadeau, Joseph Zoby and E. M. Decker. At the conclusion of the mass, Father Harrison paid tribute to the Christian life and character of Mr. Thebarge.
