NORFOLK - Ronald E. Thigpen of 205 E. 28th St., the husband of Mrs. Edna M. 
Thigpen and a native of Ayden, N.C., died Monday in his home.

He was a Baptist and was employed as a laborer.

Other survivors include five sisters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Cannon of Calico, N.C., 
Mrs. Annie Mae Wichard and Mrs. Roberta Chapman of Ayden, Mrs. Olivia Flemming 
of Vanceboro, N.C., and Mrs. Hazel Herman of Fata, Fla.; and three brothers, 
Willie Thigpin of Baltimore, Ola Thigpen of Washington, and Roosevelt Thigpen of 
Fort Pierce, Fla.

A funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hale Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. 
J.L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at his 
home.
