Jennifer Lynne Thigpen, 23, a nurse, died Sept. 20, 1990, in Chesapeake.

Miss Thigpen, a native of Portsmouth, was employed with the Chesapeake Dialysis 
Center. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include her mother, Claire G. Thigpen; her father, Dennis W. Thigpen; a 
sister, Deborah L. Thigpen; maternal grandparents, Patricia and Edward Geiger; and 
paternal grandparents, Mary and Willis Thigpen, all of Norfolk.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in Christ the King 
Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph P. Lehman. Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery. A Christian wake service will be at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Smith & Williams 
Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, where visitation with the family will follow.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association.
