Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - September 9, 1993

Naomi Thomas of the 800 block of Maltby Ave., died Sept. 5, 1993, in a local 
nursing home.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Princess Anne County, Va., and was the widow of 
Vernon Thomas. She was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church and the Usher 
Board.
Survivors include four daughters, Lavern Gardner and Janice Gardner, both of 
Bridgeport, Conn., Vickie Gardner and Regina Gardner, both of Norfolk; and 
three sisters, Elizabeth Walters, Pearline Rolack and Connie Brooks, all of 
Norfolk.
A graveside service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday in Magnolia 
Cemetery. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
