Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Monday, August 6, 1990 
Christine Holmes Thomas of the 1000 block of Willingham St., died Aug. 3, 1990,
in her home.

Mrs. Thomas, a native of Jarrett, was the widow of Herman A. Thomas. She was a
member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.

Survivors include five grandchildren including two granddaughters, Phyllis F.
Gardner and Mary F. White, and two grandsons, Carey L. Foster and Patrick H.
Foster, all of Norfolk.

The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Pleasant Baptist
Church by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing
will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Riddick Funeral Home. The body will be
placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may join the family at 7444
Hughart St.
