She was the wife of L.M.Thomas, Sr. and a daughter of the late George and Mrs. Fannie R. Alligood. She was a native of Washington, N.C. but had lived here twenty-eight years. In addition to her husband she is survived by one son, Leonard M. Thomas, Jr. and a sister, Mrs. Mary T. Rawls, of South Norfolk. Mrs. Thomas was a member of the Disciples Church of Washington. Funeral services will be conducted at the residence Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
