Thomas of 707 Washington avenue, who died suddenly Wednesday, April 12, with the pastor, the Rev. W. L. Hamilton, officiating. Mrs. Thomas was one of the oldest members of Shiloh. For many ears she bore the reputation of being an expert pastry cook, and her younger and more virile life following her specialty of pastry making in northern cities. Subsequently, she was in demand and served as pastry cook for the Central YWCA in this city. Mrs. Thomas is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Martha Thomas; son, Clarence Thomas, and adopted daughter, Mrs. Josephine Wilson of Philadelphia. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
