James Albert Thomas, of 225 Filbert street, died suddenly recently at his 
home. Funeral services were held at First Baptist Church Bowling Brook, with 
the Rev. T. A. White officiating. Mr. Thomas was a native of Richmond VA. He 
lived in Norfolk about 20 years.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Fannie S. Thomas; a brother-in-law, John 
Sanders; and four cousins. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick's 
Funeral Home in charge.
