The Virginian Pilot Thursday November 25, 1965
EMPORIA -- Mrs. Josephine Adkins Thomas, 83, the widow of William Thomas, died 
Wednesday in the home of a daughter, Mrs. Helen T. Edwards of Emporia.
A former resident of Norfolk, she lived here 14 years. Her parents were 
William J. and Mrs. Delphia Bradley Adkins.
Surviving besides her daughter, are a grandson and a great-grandson.
A funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Magnolia Cemetery, Norfolk.
