Norfolk Virginian Pilot November 29, .1951

Mrs. Novella Thomas, 76, died Tuesday night at a Norfolk hospital after a brief 
illness.
She was a native of New York State and had resided in Norfolk for two years. She 
resided at 517 Graydon Park. Mrs. Thomas was the widow of Robert T. Thomas.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Katie Stein, of Norfolk, and one niece, Mrs. 
H.A. Norman, also of Norfolk.
Funeral services will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church tomorrow at 
10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

THOMAS, NOVELLA L. — At a local hospital, Tuesday, November 27, 1951, NOVELLA L. 
THOMAS, widow of Robert T. Thomas, and daughter of the late Steel L. and 
Caroline A. Hines, in the 77th year of her age. Remains will be taken from the 
H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, to Sacred Heart Catholic 
Church, for services FRIDAY MORNING, at 10 o'clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery.
