Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, November 4, 1992
Charlie A. Thomas, of the 1300 block of W. 37th St., a disabled Army veteran,
died Oct. 28, 1992, in a Hampton hospital.

Mr. Thomas was born in Norfolk.

Survivors include his mother, Ethel A. Thomas of Chesapeake; a son, Carlos A.
Thomas of Chesapeake; a sister, Joyce Murden of Norfolk; seven brothers, Robert
T. Thomas and William Thomas, both of Norfolk, and Mathew E. Thomas, the Rev.
Alvin B. Thomas, Randolph W. Thomas and Samuel N. Thomas, all of Chesapeake, and
Johnnie E. Thomas of St. Louis.

The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. today in St. Mark's R.Z.U.A. Church by
the Rev. Theodore Lewis. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Carlos A. Howard
Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Friends may join the family at 1510
Plantation Lakes Circle, Chesapeake, for the procession.
