Norfolk - Miss Cora Thomas of 905 W. 31st street, died recently in a hospital 
after a long illness.  A native of Capron, she was a daughter of the late Landy 
and Mrs. Rosa Thomas.  She was a member of Usher Board, Pastor’s Aid Club and 
Missionary Society and a former member of St. Mark RZUA Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy E. Harris of Norfolk and two 
grandchildren.  A funeral service was held in St. Mark RZUA Church by the Rev. 
Oliver Allen.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge of 
the arrangements.
