Norfolk - Albert B. Thomas, formerly of Norfolk, was given final rites Friday at 
Riddick Funeral Home by the Rev. Vannie Parker.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.  
Mr. Thomas, 38, died May 23 in a Richmond hospital.

A native of Florence, SC, he was a son of Mrs. Annie Thomas and the late John 
Thomas and the husband of Mrs. Irma Thomas.

He formerly worked for Norfolk Construction Company and Baldwin Construction 
Company in Richmond.

Other than his mother, survivors include a daughter, Miss Lula Mae Thomas, and 
two sisters, Mrs. Cleo (smeared) and Mrs. Lucille Armond, all of Norfolk;  and 
two grandchildren.
