Thomas Is Killed In Fall Edward P. Thomas, aged 58, of 262 Brewer street, for many years an employe of the city, died yesterday morning about 9:30 o'clock as result of a fall sustained at 225 Court street. Detective Leon Nowitzky, coroner's investigator, reported that death probably was accidental. He had been dead for a hour and a half, Nowitzy said. Thomas was a son of the late William and Mrs. Annie Owens Thomas and a lifelong resident of Norfolk. He is survived by one brother, James O. Thomas, Norfolk; a half-brother, W.J. Thomas, of St. Louis, and several nieces and nephews. The body was removed to the funeral home of E.L. Cox & Brother, 631 Westover avenue, where funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
