Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark April 17, 1916

Mrs. Elizabeth Virginia Thomas, widow of E.W. Thomas of Norfolk, died 
yesterday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. J.S.M. Harrison, 
118 East Thirtieth Street.  She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. J.S.M. 
Harrison and Mrs. W.M. Jackson of Norfolk; two sons, E.E. Thomas of Norfolk 
and J.W. Thomas of Rochester, N.Y., two brothers, J.F. Leighton of Norfolk and 
H.P. Leighton, of Durham, N.C.  The funeral will take place at the residence 
Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock and will be conducted by Rev. J.T. Anderson of 
Park Avenue Baptist Church.  Burial will be in Elmwood.
