PORTSMOUTH - Calvin Thomas Jr. died Friday in a hospital.

A native of Miami, he was employed as a nursing home attendant. He was a 
Baptist.

Survivors include an aunt, Mrs. Mary Goffington of Norfolk; and a niece, Mrs. 
Gladys Spady of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel by the Rev. 
J. L. Kearney. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The family will be at 1237 
Wide St., the home of Mrs. Macon Goffington.
